El Centro Hispano & COVID-19 Gallery
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit communities of color and other marginalized populations harder and more harshly than others. So many of these people were living paycheck-to-paycheck before the virus hit and the loss of jobs and - for undocumented people - the lack of availability of government and safety net resources has made their plight even more desperate. I am trying to document one effort, by the El Centro Hispano in Durham, Carrboro and Wake County, to help.
